Simon Oates So last night, I'm watching an old episode of "World's Greatest Super Friends" called "Lord of Middle Earth". And just as I'm marveling at the bizarreness of Superman and Batman chasing trolls through tunnels and whatnot, wondering how it can get much weirder, this guy shows up and says his name is MALHAVOC!?!?!! — with Jimi LaMort. Basically when i was in grade school i was in a "make believe" band with some friends, originally we called ourselves WALKING GODS, then changed the name to MALHAVOC. I moved away from them then started a real band and kept the name because i loved it, but i had no idea about the Superfriends episode. What starts off as a camping trip for the Wonder Twins turns into a nightmarish adventure in Middle Earth when the Super Friends must battle a black magic sorcerer named Mal Havok who has taken over the troll kingdom. Mal Havoc uses his magic to turn the Super Friends into trolls. With their powers reduced, Batman and Wonder Woman accompany the troll king on a mission to free Middle Earth of the evil sorcerer.
