Not sure I like this
Ok
I know Jimi Lamort is the superb dj/mixer/producer,
BUT
I will always want the original speed metal / thrash metal /black metal / death metal James
from the 1980s.
THAT JAMES was phenomenal.
yeah, he, helped /was the man to, originate the cyber punk genre stuff, BUT I LOVE METAL.
ARGH, I am getting sick of the requests for the 1984 demos with Nigel, man !!!!
Put it out on vinyl, or cassette, or CD for fuck sakes!!!

================================
Ok, this video below is not Malhavoc, but is crazy, crazy digital hardcore black metal thrash that some of you will like.
SCHIZOID's "The Next Extreme"album blew me away in the same way as when I heard MINISTRY the first time. Well, imagine MINISTRY, ....BUT FASTER !!!

another old clip with some of that longhair James shown
Soundgarden - Interview + Live Toronto 1990
http://youtu.be/jByjsnl0vsI
This is from January 12, 1990 when Soundgarden, then Faith No More, and finally VOI VOD , played at The Concert Hall.
Go to the 9 second and the 26 second marks, and see a little bit of James talk about heavy metal.
I have not watched all of it yet, there might be more.

ok... I am slightly interested
I was Youtube searching, and thought I would see if there was any new Malhavoc uploads, possibly really old stuff (yes, I'm always going to hope to see the set from ILDIKO'S in 1987 when they played with SENILE DECAY, and DEATH MILITIA (or maybe it was ALSO with MISSING LINK, and SUDDEN IMPACT, in August,1987 ?)
anyways, there is always something I missed in the past,
and found this one just now,
shared by eargoggler·Uploaded on Nov 9, 2010
and it definitely has a DEATH SS , GOBLIN feel to it.
That dark-occult metal / horror soundtrack feel to it,
so, this means,
I will have to actually listen to all the post-1992 releases.
there could be some more good stuff like this.

MALHAVOC _ Naked (official video)
Uploaded by JimiLaMort on Jan 5, 2012
MALHAVOC official video for the song 'NAKED' from the 'GET DOWN' album.
The idea for this video was that the band were making their video and were not enjoying themselves posing for the camera, which was a reference to their previous 'Crusade' video. So the band walks off the set and on the way home they pass by many other bands making videos.
As you can see MALHAVOC used many friends in this video including a few from other Toronto bands....
The video is directed by Jason Romilly.

MALHAVOC Live '89 'Age of Desire'
Uploaded by JimiLaMort on Jan 6, 2012
MALHAVOC live at Lee's Palace in Toronto, 1989. This is the time just after the Thrash/Death Metal and before The Release album. When MALHAVOC first started to perform with a drum machine they played behind a video screen for the first few shows. This is perhaps the drum machine era Malhavoc, Rob and Jimi's first show in front of the screen.
Age of Desire was written about the Clive Barker story of the same name. Here are the lyrics.
___Age of Desire_____
"Give me your heart!"
Hidden in the night. The city swells in the heat.
Induced by an urge, corrosive natural passive
The fire seared in his veins. Heard his heartbeat.
Turned on by this need. She will unearth what she pursues.
Freed from apathy. No plan of attack.
Potent in effect, she surrenders to her goal.
Thrust his hand in and feels for her heart.
Satisfied his need as she hemorrhages to death.
This is the age of desire.
Excess can destroy and excess will destroy in this age of desire.
The animal was released, a fate he had to grasp.
One last flame spewed from within as the devouring element burns out.
Are we all blind? Can we not learn from our mistakes?
If we don't see through the fire, we will get seriously burnt.
"You and I, we are the end of the world!"
Not the greatest quality but i could upload the whole show if there are any freaks wanted to see it....

Old Videos on youtube
Now that Canada Post's strike is over, I can get back to shipping/recieving mail, which means some really cool oldschool METAL I will share with you...eventually.
For now, let's watch some old music videos -
EDIT: JUST REMEMBERED, the first Malhavoc video might have been for Dunwich Horror, using Walt Disney's FANTASIA, and/or a very ancient cartoon or movie about H. P. Lovecraft's Dunwich Horror.
I have looked on the inetrnet and can't find even on wiki any old films from pre-1980 that would fit what I am thinking of. I only seen the video maybe once or twice years ago, and thought Malhavoc's self-made video of movie clips was on youtube in the last 2 or 3 years.
There are pages for Dunwich Horror there, will keep searching.
Attack from the Sepulcher
"Second video Jimi LaMort made from the demo 'The Age of the Dark Renaissance' in the summer of '86"
'Release' promo video
"MALHAVOC's first 'real' promo video ('Release'). Taken from live footage shot by audience members and edited together by James C. Lots of horror movie clips noticable"...
'Second Image' promo video
Live at the Rivoli - 1991
"filmed in Toronto at the Rivoli club by John Dubiel. You can see a lot of the members of the MALHAVOC family either on the stage or in the audience. This show was after the release of the PUNISHMENTS ep and before the recording of PREMEDITATED MURDER album."
AND....
THE SONG that fucked up Malhavoc's release and EPIDEMIC RECORDS due to a lawsuit from The Rolling Stones or Led Zeppelin
- Dead from the album Premeditated Murder (1992)
WAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTT A MINUTE, JUST STOP EVERYTHING!!
ONE fuckin question though...THIS IS NOT FROM their cd! WHERE did this mix come from as the Zeppelin and Stones samples are missing! ...was Premeditated "re-released" with a different mix?
